For about half a century we’ve been transporting sailboats of all sizes and ages—even a few built in the late 1800’s.  Following is a small sampling of sail boat moves.  Also, please check out our America’s Cup and Racers section.  If the best in the world know and trust us, you can feel confident in our ability to provide you with the finest moving service!

Kaiulani

This beautiful 76' sailboat was built inland in San Diego. We moved her over city streets to a boatyard on Shelter Island for launching.

CUSTOM CATAMARAN, 46' long X 25' wide X 18' high.  This beautiful home-built twin-hull sailboat appears to have traffic baffled, but the move actually went quite smoothly with three pilot cars directing the flow.

When we jack up a boat and load it, careful attention is paid to supporting the vessel at structural strong-points to ensure a safe move.

Taleisn being removed from its building shed

" Hand-crafted by well-known sailing journalists, Lin and Larry Pardey; TALEISIN was built in the hills of southern California."

TALEISIN navigates five miles of winding dirt road on her maiden voyage to the sea. Follow them at their website: www.landlpardey.com

SEAYANIKA a 49' Cal Vader heading for a round-the-world trip

We were delighted to be able to help Katriana and Erik Vader get one step closer to their dream of global circumnavigation aboard SEAYANIKA, a restored Cal Vader 49. Please travel along with them on their award-winning website, www.seayanika.com

The 'FRANK EDMUND'

Built in their back yard by Leland and Cecily Parsons and family, this unusually beartiful 65' schooner took 29 years to complete. Originally they believed the project would take 5 years, but "life intervened".

Shown here, the 'FRANK EDMUND' awaits launching as Leland (white shirt with his back to us) is interviewed by a few of the many media representatives present. Leland and Cecily plan a 5 year journey around the world.

Racing to beat an incoming rain storm, which would have delayed us for weeks, we manually loaded and then moved this 26 ton schooner around the Parsons' house, across their backyard, through a neighbor's field and down a dirt road ---- all in 5 hours!

To manually load a boat like this, we jack up the boat, place the bow on a roller track on the trailer, and meticulously back the trailer under the boat. Leland and his family were a big help in this endeavor.
